2007 Beneteau Cyclades 39 This Cyclades 39 is one of Beneteau most popular models, and rightly so. With 3 x good size cabins, 2 heads, great cockpit size and twin helm, she really is the best designed 39 footer out there. This example is in A1 condition! The current (second) owner is retired and has spent several happy seasons on her, with some very credible cruising logs to boast about. A trans Atlantic not least of which. With all the spare time available, the owner has lavished lots of energy on her maintenance and up... read more
2004 MacGregor 26M An interesting concept - a trail-able easily rigged motor sailor capable of 22 kts (under motor). Water ballasted for stability under sail, and enough accommodation for a family of six to weekend on! Love them or hate them (a bit like Marmite?) they are a product which sells outrageously well in the USA and fully meets European type approval. If you're tired of lolling around at 4 kts or less when the wind drops you might like to give this interesting concept a try? These boat details are subj... read more
2008 Bavaria 34 £44,950
2008 Bavaria 34 This is a good example of a Bavaria 34 with the safety package which incorporates D rings in the cockpit and a wire lifeline runs from bow to stern for safety harnesses. The stacker pack makes it much simpler to put the sails away and she has a gas kicker fitted for ease of reefing. The hatches are rear facing for added safety and all fuel pipes are sealed for fire protection. A carbon monoxide detector has also been fitted. The boat has had little use and externally and internally is in good... read more
2016 Viko S21 £11,750
2016 Viko S21 Here we have a very modern and well constructed lightweight yacht from a respected Polish yard. Conceived as a trailer sailor with lifting keel and rudder, our example has a fixed fin with torpedo bulb. This enhances her ballast, stability and upwind performance but inhibits her trailing possibility. She is clean and dry and though facilities are basic she would be suitable for coastal, estuaries and inland waters for cruising or club racing. Her Design Category C means that she is designed for ... read more
1979 Golden Hind 31 The Maurice Griffiths designed Golden Hind 31 was once considered to be the epitome of an affordable, shoal draught, 'Blue Water' cruiser. Originally built in marine ply to Lloyd's specifications later examples, such as ours, were produced with GRP hull and wooden deck and coachroof. 'Ocean capable' in the right hands, many examples have indeed found those elusive palm fringed atolls and sun kissed anchorages, of which most of us just dream. This example has been well used and loved and has a su... read more
2004 Regal 1800 LSR Bowrider Simply: WOW..... I thought this boat had just come from the factory when it arrived in our yard. To say she is in truly exceptional condition doesn't quite cover it. She is sort of a barn find, in that she has been in a heated garage all her life and used for only 70 hours since new! Even those hours do not show, there is not a mark on her. She is top end of the price bracket for one of these but there is simply not a better one in existence I would bet. She has been checked over, serviced and s... read more
1979 Achilles 24 The Achilles 24 is always a keenly sought after cruiser/racer locally. She performs well around the cans, often taking line honours from larger yachts, but is also a comfortable and sea-worthy fast cruiser. The only criticism of the marque is the restricted accommodation, but for someone who prizes sailing quality and performance over caravan comforts the little Achilles is a hard act to beat. The triple keeled version is particularly useful around the Bristol Channel, where the best harbours dr... read more
2008 Orkney Vanguard 190 it is a pleasure to have this one back to be sold again. We listed and sold this boat at the beginning of the summer to a chap who had a new Nelson on order and wanted something to play with while awaiting the arrival of said new boat. The handover of the new one has just been done so this is available again. We have recently had her out on the water and can report she is all good with everything working as it should. Such a well made boat with excellent sure-footed sea keeping. On her trailer, ... read more
1977 Drascombe Cruiser Longboat A Longboat with a cabin. Designed to appeal more to private buyers than the open version, the Cruiser Longboat was introduced and sold side by side with the standard open boat. Introduced in 1970 and replaced in 1979 by the Coaster. Over 400 were built. Cruiser Longboats or, if you prefer, Longboat Cruisers have crossed the Channel, even oceans, but are ideally suited to creek crawling and coast hopping. Recently refitted by a local Harbour Master (who never sailed her) she must be the prettiest... read more
2004 Steel Motor Boat 38 This Steel Motor Yacht is based on a Nelson. She was designed by a naval architect and built by professional fabricators and shipwrights. She is RCD certified. She is a capable vessel able to handle the most adverse weather conditions . The accommodation comprises of four cabins. A main saloon with the helmsmans position to port and seating to starboard. Moving forward from the saloon is the galley to starboard with a dinette arrangement opposite, which converts to a double berth. The forward ca... read more
1986 Moody 31 MkII A good example of a popular family sized cruising yacht with passage making potential. She's a fin keeled model and as such should have a good sailing performance without the annoying slamming that can occur in a short chop with twin keels. Below decks she sports recent new upholstery, electric heads, and a recently replaced Beta diesel with approx 600 hrs on her. Just lifted into our yard, pressure washed and re-antifouled, she's ready to relaunch and sail. These boat details are subject to con... read more
2002 Pirate Boats 480 Pirate boats are a builder based near us here in Pembrokeshire. They have been building an interesting and extensive range of fishing boats for many years. This model (480) is based on the shetland 535 hull and therefore has a great seakeeping reputation, good size cockpit deck for its size, with a cuddy cabin she is a fantastic little family/fishing boat. She has good electronics and the engine starts and runs very well. When we get a dry day, she will be washed and polished and re-photographed... read more
2001 Beneteau Platu 25 Designed by Farr Yacht Design led by Bruce Farr, the Platu 25 (aka First 25) is a shrunk MUM 40, or so we're reliably informed! An out and out racer with a deep fin keel and bulb (ballast approx 510kg hence a ballast ratio of just over 40%) she has a designed top speed of approx 11kts, in the right conditions clearly, since her 3.3hp motor is purely for marina handling and flat calms. Her accommodation is spartan in the extreme but two cushioned berths are available for the post race party go... read more
2008 KSS R30 £24,500
2008 KSS R30 Comments from the owner:- This is the background to the building of the racing catamaran " Lilly". Having been a keen racer on the Dart 18 circuit for five years I wanted to race a bigger vessel. Nothing suitable was available. I knew Derek Kelsall and liked his designs and decided to build the KSS-R-30 to his plans. Construction began in an environmentally controlled industrial unit in Abbergavenny in 2004. Building went ahead, to the designer's specifications, using 12mm Airex foam as the co... read more
1977 Maxi 95 £16,000
1977 Maxi 95 The Maxi 95, nicknamed the 'Swedish Tardis', it's easy to see why these yachts were chosen by (my favourite) Mediterranean charter company for their flotilla lead boat crews. Spacious for her length, almost flush decked (great for partying!), sensible accommodation for three and six at a squeeze and with a good turn of speed under motor or sail they come very close to being the perfect yacht for cruising, yet a capable performer in club races. The design may be considered by some to be a tad d... read more
1979 Mitchell 31 MK1 Hard to believe this is a 1979 model year, she has a professionally painted hull with a near perfect finish, a fully refitted interior and with a nice fresh coat of anti-foul she is looking great and much younger than she is. The qualities of the Mitchell 31 is well known as a serious and very capable offshore fishing and cruising boat. This one is ashore, available to view, offer upon and ready to sail away. Needless to say there has been a good amount of time, money and effort spent on her to ... read more
1980 GibSea 27 £4,950
1980 GibSea 27 This little Gibsea offers excellent sailing properties and reasonable accommodation for her size. Ideal for a couple for coastal and cross channel work and room for a couple of kids and a dog too! Little used in recent years, sadly, due to ill health. A little tlc would be welcome, esp below the waterline where layer upon layer of A/F paint has built up but this is merely cosmetic. All in all this is a good looking and well put together little ship and broad horizons await her new skipper! Th... read more
2012 AMT 200 DC £23,950
2012 AMT 200 DC This boat is (in my opinion) the perfect set-up. I say this because she is almost identical to my own sportsboat. This layout is ideal for a family or as a run about with friends, fishing, picnicking, skiing etc. The cuddy gives a inside seating area for the kids if it gets a bit chilly at the end of the day, it is also a good storage space for all the clobber that one has when out with kids. It is also a sleeping area of course, for the occasional over-night. The cockpit is safe with great shel... read more
1982 Mirage 28 £4,950
1982 Mirage 28 I have known this Mirage 28 and her owners since she was new. She has been well cared for throughout her life and is in reasonable condition for her age. She is an easy boat to sail and handle. The accommodation comprises of a double berth in the forward cabin with the heads to port and a hanging locker opposite. In the saloon starboard side there is a settee berth and the galley with a large chart table and quarter berth opposite. There is ample space for the family and she is currently in t... read more
1995 D H Grainger Gaff Cutter If ever the cliche' "a Proper Little Ship" meant anything then this must be it! She is a unique slice of yachting tradition harking back to a bygone era. She was designed and built by a local Engineering Company owner who's life has been tied up in this vessel for the last 41 years. She was 16 years in the build and he then spent 25 years sailing her, without an engine or any electronic nav aids. When I asked him about navigation aids his reply was to the effect that all a proper sailor needs ... read more

2005 Ocqueteau 645 We have had many of these 645's through our hands over the years. She has been dry stored ashore and only launched to be used locally in good weather. Being in the dry storage rack can account for some of her well preserved condition, the current owner can take the credit for the rest. The appeal of the 645 is wide ranging. For a compact boat, they have many features which belie their size. The French designers really know how to arrange the layout to utilise all the space sensibly. She has a se... read more

1979 Sadler 32 £16,750
1979 Sadler 32 The Sadler 32 was launched as a modernised successor to the fantastic Contessa 32. Not everyone, especially in the racing world, thought it a big improvement but, she is a thoroughly robust and well constructed open water cruiser that will look after her crew when the weather turns foul. The Sadler is still very much a cruiser racer, but the emphasis here is more on the cruiser, as might be deduced from the wide screen TV, multiple solar chargers and the extended battery bank; not to mention t... read more
1988 Sigma 38 £32,500
1988 Sigma 38 The sigma 38 is just about my favourite fast 38ft cruiser from the 1980's. Favourite because they were the choice of the RAF Sailing Association for many years, and in RAFSA's 'Red Arrow' I cut my Yacht Master teeth , so to speak. A one design, which for many people was an out and out racer, nevertheless they also proved to be a comfortable and sea-kindly cruising yacht, easily handled by a competent couple or small crew. 1973 Hustler 35 £9,950
1973 Hustler 35 The sweet lines of the Hustler 35 immediately mark her out as an offshore classic. A yacht capable of looking after herself and crew in a blow and who's horizons extend to palm fringed coral beaches. She is not a floating apartment, designed to entertain hordes of guests in the marina having made a short hop up the coast ; which nevertheless she'd have a stab at if pushed! No, she's a long legged ocean greyhound and one that I have personally admired for close on thirty years, albeit from a dis... read more
