Pandora 700 fin keel fast cruising yacht in GRP from the design board of E.G. Van de Stadt.
Manufactured 1977/78 by Rydgeway Marine.
LOA 23ft Beam 6ft 10 Draught 3ft 9 Weight 1500kg
The improvised version of the fabulous MK1 and Pandora International but with a slightly deeper keel, taller mast and retousse stern giving the vessel very appealing lines.
Berths for four adults below deck in an open plan layout.
Internal GRP headlining for better insulation and easy wipe clean.
Sail wardrobe consists of the main, furling genoa on a roller reefing system, spinnaker and host of other sails.
The outboard well is mounted inboard of the transom convenient to the helm position to provide ease of use and powerful propwash over the rudder resulting in no cavitation when heeled.......no leaning over the transom to get to the outboard on a bracket.
When underway the engine can be removed and a GRP plug inserted in the well to complete the underwater profile.
Power is provided by a Yamaha 4hp fourstroke longshaft outboard engine.
Sits on a very strong galvanised trailer that supports the yacht and tows really well.
Can sell without the trailer or engine it required.
With its fine lines and torpedo shaped hull, the 700 is a very fast and seaworthy yacht, puts in some impressive passage times and does itself proud racing around the cans.
It is a very suitable and forgiving yacht for someone new to sailing or for a dinghy sailor wanting to move up to something with a bit of comfort.
Currently ashore on its trailer.
