Powered by the popular and reliable Beta BD 1005 28hp triple cylinder inboard diesel engine with only 163 hours on the clock coupled to a PRM gearbox both professionally fitted. The engine runs with loads of power on tap, a very important consideration when rounding those headlands against a foul tide or motor sailing into a head sea. Originally fitted with the smaller Volvo Md series engines between 14-25hp, there are some cheaper Westerly models about, however with this vessel, the worry of replacing or repairing a 40+ year old engine has been taken out of the equation.
As a preventative measure the keels have been professionally unbolted and re-bedded port and starboard with strengthening webs across the keel so there is no chance of the keels having splayed....there is an time expired survey with the boat to back all of this up giving the vessel a good bill of health.
Requires a clean of the topsides and a re-paint to the hull due to scrapes caused against the pontoon.
Receipts for work done come with the yacht.
Even without the mast and rigging this would make a fantastic motor cruiser to explore the inland waterway network.
If it's not in the ad.....it's not on/with the yacht.
Currently ashore Belfast Lough.
