This is a 1978 Westerly Centaur.
I'm selling it because I've got a new job which means I won't be able to get down to it this summer.
Just had the boat out of the water to have its hull cleaned, checked and anti fouling done.

From front to back:
The forepeak has a V-berth with under-berth storage and infill, which converts it into a double berth. The forepeak also has shelf storage to both sides of the berth.
There is a separate head compartment with a marine toilet and a wash basin supplied with pumped water.
Continuing there is a saloon with a central table and a seating area on the port side. There is plenty of under-seat storage (including a cold box) and shelf storage behind. The port settee can be turned into another berth.
On the starboard side is the galley with a gimballed 2-burner hob and a single composite sink with storage space.
Behind the galley area is a single settee with under-berth storage and cupboard storage above.
Further back there are two quarter berths located at the stern.
Up the companionway, the aft cockpit has bench seating for five people with plenty of storage in a deep locker to the stern The cockpit has a compass, depth gauge, engine controls, and tiller with a skeg rudder.

History & Construction:
Constructed by Westerly Yachts in 1978 according to Laurent Giles' design. Featuring a White GRP hull with GRP toe rail, self-draining cockpit, and white GRP decks with by non-slip surfaces. Its stability is ensured by bilge keels, with tiller steering and spade rudder.
This Westerly Centaur 26 has a Volvo MDC11 diesel engine which has been well maintained but engine hours are unknown. The boat was last ashore in 2025 for antifouling.
Sails and Spars:
This is a masthead Bermudan sloop rig, with a deck-stepped aluminium mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging. The age of the standing and running rigging is unknown. It has a furling headsail and a slab reef mainsail.
