30’ Sailing Boat for Sale
“Rhiannon” is a 30’ GRP, bilge keel, sailing boat, built about 1970 by Kingfisher , UK. The current owners have sailed her every season since 1986 ( mostly on the Shannon lakes).
There are six bunks in three cabin areas along with a toilet and sail locker section.
The engine and drive train are in perfect condition and have less than 100 hours running time. The 30hp engine is by Lombardini. A 12 v inverter, shore power connection, vhf radio, swimming ladder, 120 ltr water tank and 30 ltr diesel fuel tank are fitted.
Three foresails, two mains with slab reefing, a spinnaker and stainless steel stays make up the running rigging.
Wheel steering in a centre cockpit makes for comfortable travelling.
Main and kedge anchors are housed in a fore- locker on deck. There is an anchor winch.
A large tabernacle ensures safety when lowering the mast.
Depth, log and windicater instruments need updating.
The galley is fitted with gas hob and oven. A cool box is inset at the galley
Rhiannon is not a competitive sailer but it is a safe and reliable boat, even in heavy weather and is made for family fun at anchor.
Boat is in very good condition and responds well to annual clean ups and maintenance work.

Six berths, each approx 1.85m x0.6m. Forward berths taper and the aft cabin berths are pipe cots.

Construction

Hollow bilge keels with lead ballast, GRP hull, bronzed aluminium mast and spreaders, stainless steel stays. Wide, flat deck on perimeter and generous stainless steel pulpit and pushpit.

Equipment

Galley with gas cooker on gimbals and fitted storage units. A small coolbox is fitted.

Engine(s)

Lombardini 30hp with just 100 hours on it and the full drive train. in perfect condition. Engine is readily accessible for all checks and maintenance

Sails & Spars

Two mains with slab reefing, three foresails and a spinnaker sail all in good condition.

Safety Equipment

4-.person life raft ( needs updated certification). inflatable rowing dinghy, fire extinguishers.
