Description

Kioni is a modified 1969 Elizabethan 23
Extensive remodelling/Modifications carried out by Alchemy marine in
2015 which consisted of removing deck/cockpit moulding,removing all
internal bulkheads and furniture, the Hull was strengthened and extended
to 26ft/7.9m with the addition of a new counter stern
Kioni has a Teak/Iroka swept deck which is laid on a newly moulded GRP
sub deck
All joinery work is in Mahogany
The Cabin consists of 2 berths and a sea toilet forward Kioni is very much
a dayboat !!
Kioni has the advantage of having a centreboard for shoal waters but sails
very well with it up
The owner of Kioni is more concerned about a new caring owner and is
regrettably selling her due to some health issues,He has agreed to pay for a
complete overhaul of Kioni to include repainting the hull in Eppifanes 2k
and to strip and re varnish all exterior Varnish work,service the engine and
repaint the mast and basically go through the entire boat to ensure the new
owner gets as much pleasure from Kioni as he has had!!
Due to the fact that Kioni was originaly built in 1969 it exempts her from
VAT and duty, should she be exported/imported, it also means she qualifies
for most classic regattas
Kioni was Voted “Yacht of the year”in her category in the 2016 Classic
