Doncaster South Yorkshire UK
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have reluctantly decided to put my boat on the market.
The boat has everything needed for spacious and comfortable long or short distance, self-contained cruising during all four seasons. Alternatively, if you are contemplating ditching your mortgage it would make an ideal live aboard with plenty of room and all the usual home comforts.
The power is from a Thorneycroft 1800 BMC diesel engine, transverse mounted in the rear corner (for easy maintenance) giving power to a hydraulic drive. Which makes for quiet and economical cruising. The engine has had a recent full service replacing all belts filters and fluids. The engine has two alternators, one for charging the engine batterie’s and the other to charge the domestic. I have owned a few boats over the years and never known an engine that starts as good as this engine does
The boat is equipped with two showers/toilets, 1 with a new electric flush toilet and the second, (which is on-suite) with a porta-potti for times when the pump out is unavailable.
Electric is from the shore power or from a new 3.5 KW inverter off the leisure batteries which are kept charged by a solar panel on the roof, the alternator when cruising or from the shore power via a marine battery charger.
Hot water is from the calorifier heated via the engine or from a new recently fitted thermostat-controlled immersion heater. a flick of a switch changes between the two.
Diesel blown air heating (Economical and quiet)
It has a 12 volt electric fridge with small freezer compartment that runs 24 hours (with no problems) while cruising, a full gas oven and hob, Microwave oven and 2 TV’s with boosters.
All you need is your bedding and food, and you are ready to cruise, any trial welcome.
I had an out of the water insurance survey done in September 2021. where it was valued between £32,500 - 35,000
The Safety certificate valid until 16th October 2026.
The boat comes with a full tank of diesel that’s 300 mile of free cruising before you need to re-fuel
Any trial welcome. Tel – to arrange a viewing or to see more pictures.
IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING make an appointment to have a look round, have a coffee and ask any questions that you want answering. (Currently moored at Doncaster)
