The Albin Vega is a solidly built 27-footer with an excellent reputation for sailing performance and seaworthiness. Its the smallest yacht to circumnavigate the NW passage and round the Americas https://www.sailmagazine.com/cruising/matt-rutherford-mission-accomplished
There is a very strong owners association and their website says that over 12 Vegas have circumnavigated the globe showing the strength of this well proven Swedish classic!
I am moving to a tidal mooring so a bilge keel boat is in order.
Have a a Bilge Keel to swop for Boogaloo?
It is in good overall condition and the engine has now been professionally overhauled with rebuilt head, honed cylinder, new piston rings, shell bearings and a new water pump and all new water pipes to and from pump. Anode, oil and filter and new ignition switch also fitted in this work.
Surveyed when bought in 2014.
On Poolbeg Marina, Dublin 4 or Clontarf YC Dublin 3 depending on when I move it.
