2012 MasterCraft X-Series X-7

Some will tell you that trying to be all things to all boaters makes you good at none of them. Not so with the X-7. The same boat that is simply the best slalom boat in the world gives riders a rock-solid towpoint from the ZeroFlex Flyer tower and ample kick with the flick of a ballast switch. Watch the supple slalom wakes juice up to smooth ramps by adding 400 pounds of internal ballast, then turn in your water ski for a wakeskate. Stow them both away in any of the three easy-to-access compartments, with 16 cubic feet of storage - plus the standard swiveling tower board racks - to keep the floor clean. Lucky? We believe in creating your own luck.

MasterCraft X-7: Luck Need Not Apply
Thomas Jefferson once said, "I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it." No phrase better describes the MasterCraft X-7. This versatile boat became the first boat in history to be certified by the AWSA in all 5 competitive water ski events and won Powerboat's "Outstanding Towboat Performance" award. Shortly thereafter, the X-7 hull towed 3 water ski world records in two months, proving that the X-7 works extraordinarily hard to make you feel very lucky.
The X-7 combines all the award-winning qualities of MasterCraft's EVO hull, with an open bow and lots of X-Series attitude. From 30 to 36 mph, MasterCraft's EVO hull provides the softest slalom wake in the world. Add a perfectly-positioned 800 lb direct drive engine, a rear ballast system and a tower, and at 21 mph you've got perfectly formed wakeboard ramps.
As good fortune would have it, the X-7 also has an impressive interior. With a spacious open bow, adjustable MasterView driver's seat, a specially contoured observer seat, optional jump seat and a removable rear bench seat (that converts to a sun pad) there's plenty of room for 6 rowdy revelers.
The 2006 X-7 comes standard with a multi-port injected RTP-1 V-8 engine, a 4-speaker JL Audio stereo system, a 2 brushed aluminum Zero Flex Flyer tower with rotating board racks, a KGB ballast system, a dual-access cooler and an enlarged swim platform. Plus, the X-7 is dialed in with the latest CAN-driven (control area network) red gauges, second-generation digital throttle control technology, investment cast underwater gear, composite bearings, and second generation MasterCraft Cruise system.
The X-7 will also continue to challenge other wakeboard boats in 2006 with cool new graphics and color schemes, bright dip anodized billet aluminum badges, stainless grab handles, and new hammered metal textured vinyl accents with SRT (stain-resistant top coating).
The X-7 also has exceptional new tower options. Add some flare with completely redesigned JL Audio speaker cans, engineered to project more sound behind the boat, or improve your view with MasterCraft's new Extreme Mirror with quick disconnect. A slew of new MasterCraft by Design aftermarket parts are also available.
With all these great attributes and more, it's easy to see why luck has nothing to do with it.

Engine:

There are few things in life that give a grown man goosebumps like the growl of V8 power dressed up in black and stainless steel. MasterCraft celebrates over two decades of partnership with Indmar Marine Engines by offering its most complete line of Vortec engines in history in 2006. Where most competitive base engine offerings are still carbureted, all MasterCraft engines are once again standard with multiport fuel injection and second generation Digital Throttle Control technology, making your boating experience easier, safer, and more reliable than ever. Our torque-filled RTP-1 (310 hp), steady and strong MCX (350 hp), bullet-proof LQ9 (385 hp), and meaty L-18 (450 hp) are the backbone of a lineup that earned Indmar the industrys highest Customer Satisfaction Award in the Ski/Wake category in 2005. Grrrrrrr.

Bow:

THE BOW OF THE X-7, STANDARD WITH CUP HOLDERS, PREMIUM JL AUDIO SPEAKERS, AND DREAM-LIKE COMFORT, MIGHT BE THE BEST LOUNGE YOULL EVER FIND.

Dash:

STAYING DIALED IN FOR A CONSISTENT PULL IS EFFORTLESS WITH RED-FACED GAUGES THAT ARE DRIVEN BY SYNCHRONIZED WIRING, ALLOWING MORE EFFI CIENT DELIVERY OF DATA FROM ENGINE AND SENSORS.

Rear Storage:

YOU WORK HARD IN THE WATER, SO WE MAKE SURE THAT GRABBING OR STASHING YOUR BOARD, ROPE, AND VEST IS EASY WITH THIS WELL-LOCATED, GENEROUS REAR STORAGE COMPARTMENT.

Sunpad:

TRANSFORMING THE BACK SEAT TO A SIZABLE, COZY SUNPAD IS THE EASY PART SHARING IT MAY BE MORE DIFFICULT.
