The S-500 is a modern Micro Tonner from Poland and has a cabin forward, but a wide open dinghy-style cock-pit with toe straps for three people hiking. Both
the keel and rudder lift vertically to leave a completely flush bottom that allows the boat to dry out on a mooring. The S500 is powered by a fully battened main sail and has a retractable bowsprit with a generously
sized asymmetric spinnaker to speed the boat off wind.
The S-500 is a 16’ lifting keel suitable for a racing or day sailing.
