The Explorer Elites medium ‘V’ hull provides without a doubt your best option for a smooth ride and minimum roll at anchor ensuring maximum comfort. The hull shape provides extremely responsive handling at both high and low speeds. For those wet and cold days there is ample room for all in the forward cuddy. Free board height has been designed high at 32ins to provide maximum safety for all onboard. You will appreciate the extra feeling of security offered by the high freeboard, when playing that fish of a lifetime. The shallow draught of the Explorer Elite makes boarding easy and safe. The steering height is suitable for either standing or sitting. The standard Elite offers 40 sq ft of uncluttered deck space, 2 storage lockers in the forward bunks, large storage locker in console, fully flow coated and non slip deck throughout, internally the top and hull are also fully flow coated making the cleaning of the Elite a simple matter. There are 2-rod holders fitted in the gunnels, a S/S bow roller, S/S sampson mooring post, 2 S/S stern mooring cleats, helmsman’s seat box and folding helmsmans seat. The stern deck sump will accommodate 2 standard fuel tanks, the anchor locker is huge and self-draining and access is via a pair of hinged locker doors on the foredeck. The foredeck is accessed via a forward hatch, which is constructed of anodised aluminium, this is designed and manufactured especially for Explorer Boats to accommodate the larger user, who are often over looked by our competitors. Maximum engine rating is 80hp, however a 50/60hp is adequate for the job and provides maximum economy.
